Look man, I'm sharing information. I don't know why you're trying to be cocky with me. If you want to up to a 100 shot next season and blindly rev 4th gear to 6500 rather than make an intelligent decision about it then that's your prerogative. You tore your car apart and hooked up the cheapest nitrous kit you could find so you're obviously a guru. I only worked at the dragstrip for 7 years of my life so I definitely don't know a thing about the sport.

Also didn't know we had dsg trans that could shift in milliseconds lol definitely exaggerating that 200ms shift time that is quite easily measurable in a data log, but what do I know once again
I also didn't know your car stops rolling while shifting. Most cars I've driven keep moving while they shift. Another blanket statement, I know I know. Again, what do I know?

Dude you're suppose to scooch your butt forward on the shifts, that should get you that extra .2 off no problem. Just like you lean in your seat for better cornering, that's just science fact. lol

Apparently don't know why your car can't spin the tires 3 months ago ;)
Oh cool, someone else who wants to talk about traction issues at the sticky dragstrip and yet ridicule me for expecting an ounce of wheelspin when pulling off a dirt road. Brilliant. Try to stay on topic, I've had enough dumb arguments on the interweb for the week.

Look don't listen to me at all. You do the maths on how much mph you'd have to lose to go 0.2 slower in the last 320' and see for yourself how absurd it is.

Correct. I actually did just look back and the non-PP has the J2 intake and the PP car has the Airaid intake, but otheriwse identical.

Here's the video

Those slips seem about right. Traction being equal the PP car gets out, then the taller gear non PP car comes on the big end but they run about the same tuned.

I read the first page of this thread when it started and then kind of forgot about it... man, I just read it all and never thought it would have derailed so bad (and interestingly ! :D).
What I got from it (ignoring all the swearing) is that if you want to be in the 11's you need to spend some serious cash. Just because you got it for free or at a reduced price doesn't mean it doesn't count. I believe the amount of stuff Jordan has costs as much as what I paid for my old SHO. Really nice to see it can be done with bolt-on add-ons and without the need of serious mods.
I personally plan to get a new tune next year after getting beat by another SHO (I shared the video somewhere) with less stuff than mine and just a better tune.

To go equivalently fast need more money and equal amount of time compared to me yes. However, just my opinion, doesn't mean I didn't do it for cheaper. Lot of time went into the deals and sponsorships. Basically substituted money with time.

Thats any motorsport bud, bad part about it. My bud runs 358 sprint cars and all season he is just mentally broken from the time spent working and fixing his car with also trying to work a ton of hours a week to keep the money flowing

Hes got the funds. GE9X it is. Ill put an order in. First sho to break sound barrier!
We ran them in a test rig to over 115,000ftlb but had insane vibration and seal leakage issues, but your not flying youd be alright. We just need to dimple the body so you can keep it in a straight line

I'm just saying just because I got sponsored pieces doesn't mean it counts towards my total $ to go this quick :nut:

Glad I could help amuse everyone this week. I'll be here all month! The answer to this week's pop maths quiz, since nobody guessed it, is 20 mph. Jordan would have to finish 20 mph (or more) slower for a 1000' shift to cost him .2 seconds of ET. Actually, he'd have to let off the gas completely at 1000', and probably even hit the brakes. But hey guys, what do I know! Science facts are tough!

Y'all know that a 250-400 hp wet shot kit is only $1030 right? That, slicks, a LPFP and some basic accessories should be enough to obliterate any record or at least find the breaking point in the drivetrain. Perhaps that'll be my project for the spring. Then maybe I'll get the parade in my honor and the keys to the city that a certain someone seems to think they deserve for the impossible feat of an 11 second street car on nitrous LMFAO. I guess then I'll be an "expert" and thus qualified to offer my point of view here. Until then I'll just keep my knowledge to myself and laugh at the stupid ones rather than try to help out.

Have a great weekend, cool dudes and ********** alike!
