Mine has no orange peel, but the metallic flake is uneven on the hood though. All the doors are misaligned, either in the up/down or in/out plane. Hood fit is poor as well, tight on one side, fine on the other.
I've probably watched every one of this guys videos lolI would not wet sand it first. I would mow it with a good compound first.

It would be difficult to get orange peel in a metallic base coat. It's usually in the clear coat. It is therefore safe to color sand until the clear is flat and then buff.Yeah the orange peel is not in the clear coat it is in the base coat and they make a comment in the video that it actually serves a purpose and usually I'd you look this up they say it's due to spraying the clear coat to quickly before the base levels out
