Can I be honest?
I appreciate the honestyCan I be honest?
I don't like it.
Without any more incorporation of that same blue elsewhere (in order to tie it in, to an overall theme) it sticks out like a sore thumb, and not in a good way.
Who knows, maybe this is the beginning of your transformations perhaps.....?
Although I understand those that employ the use of Plastidip, to me, it's a cheap mod.
It will reveal it's "cheapness" over time. If you like the look, I suggest getting them professionally painted/powder coated.
But as mentioned, try to tie it in with an overall theme.
Good luck in your continued mods!

Alright, what's your secret juice for keeping 'em spinners so clean, mrhighcaliber?
thru the intake at idle of a hot engine. 15second spray. Then shut the engine down. I've done 7 applications. In 3days. Bore scoped the intake and there's little deposits and what's there is very very soft. I'm wondering if the boosted airflow will erode away the remaining softened deposits. Never used seafoam. But i know the Amsoil Power foam foams up similar to a foaming bathroom cleaner when its sprayed, so it clings to parts while it works.I wonder if seafoam works as good as that stuff. I know a lot of people swear by it.

Nice! Hopefully the improved airflow will help keep those deposits off (no plans for meth injection I assume). Any before/after pics from the borescope?
Will the afraid intake make much difference? Online advanced auto parts 20% OFF [50.00] plus my 20.00 in store coupons makes it tempting around 240.00.$150 for the supporting cast..... Then $600 for DPs...$1300 for exhaust...$450 for meth.... Dyno tuning afterwards.... Yup... that's what happens when you "find out" >:-D

A tune is the #1 first mod in my opinion. It's definitely the BEST bang for your buck, and I feel the k&n panel filter is more cost effective than a full intake. Granted it may not give the most CFM but it isn't that far off, it will however keep more of the hot air out. There have been lots of talk about the airaid intake... I have one myself... the end summary is that it does not seal well around the hood so it pulls a lot of hot air from the engine bay...
People tend to have the best luck with the stock setup.. Livernois claims theirs is better than stock...but its a lot like the airaid.. theirs apparently seals better to the hood.. which you can do yourself with the airaid if you are so inclined.. lots of posts on that too..
Course I did read also that someone picked up addition HP somewhere in the power band.. although not at peak..there was no dyno sheets to back it up though...
Better to save the money and put it towards a tune... exhaust... etc... me thinks
