I'm thinking I could shed about 300 lbs with 4 door panels off, back seats out, and the passenger seat removed....that combined with some low DA and a slim chance of 11's is there I think with 12.42 being the best run with just a tune & CAI. Added DP'S, coilovers, and better rubber since the 12.42 too.

Looking at the weather expected on the 17th, not going to be the day to attempt it with low 80's in the forecast.

Brian, you are one of the first to hit on what I've been thinking since day 1...

No moon roof, no heated/cooled seats, no massager in seat....and let's not forget my weight...coilovers were a 15 lb reduction also

So you ran the 12.4 with all of your interior? I thought you had already had it out. Is this a daily driver?

YES! He flies by me on a regular basis on the highway and doesn't even know that it's me lol. I have been trying to tell you that our tuning is second to none.

I never said your tunes were no good, there is something different about that car though, 12.4 is not the norm.. Great accomplishment though.

Everyone else is running high 12's with your tune or unleashed tune. I am a big guy also, actually just lost 30lbs but I was 265lbs when I was at the track. Was gonna let my wife take it down the track with more than 100lb weight difference

It does seem to be the "Anomoly"...the 12.42 was full weight on stock tires(the hated RSA'S to boot), wheels, and suspension too...thx also

Quite a few other guys at Livernois CAD were running mid 12's too...a couple 12.5's & 12.6's.

It was pretty cool that Dan hooked up to a buddies car there and tuned him at the track! Shaved a tenth & a half off for him.

Was that you on the eway the day of Mustang Memories car show?

Ha, quick little jump to triple digits...coilovers feel good on those turns!

I am going to head to the track again in October. Maybe this time I will go with less gas in the tank and pull out all unneeded weight just for bragging rights to make sure I hit a 12 second slip

Do it man...just adds another layer of enjoyment to owning the vehicle. Just remember to keep up on the fluid changes if driving it excessively hard!!!

Have you logged for Torrie and got a revised tune?

In the logging process...I'd suggest logging per season/weather changes. Definitely do some logging as the winter blend fuel comes to us here no later than October 15th.

Don't get me wrong SHOnUup's car is one of the quickest cars out there. But as he stated LMS cars are running really quick. I can only state mine as an example. Mine with just the tune ran 12.73. Keep in mind that I added at least 250lbs of stereo and Dynamat. With DP and intake she ran a 12.62 fully loaded. I know in the right conditions and if I ran 1/4 tank of gas and removed just my subs (150lbs) she would run low 12.5s. This is with the canned LMS tune. I plan on installing meth and going to get a dyno tune from them. 12 flat should be no problem with that set up.
