So..... Everyone know that main bearings are obsolete. But now it's not a big problem. We found a replacement. It's Clevite MS 2011P for Toyota 3.0 engine. For SHO motor you need to buy 2 sets of them.
All important dimensions are the same.

I cant give a link for an engine which works with this bearings but this engine will work soon and I'll give you a photos.

Very good find, appears 2,3 can be fitted, although the Clevite only has one oil hole, so you'll have to go with the Sealed Power brand. Beck and Toyota has 3 holes as well. I got my information from here

the only other issue I see with position 2 and 3, inners (the positions with thrust), is going from 18.8468mm to the Toyota's 20mm hopefully you'll have enough room for the thrust bearing and that the crank has enough surface area. I don't see this as a major obstacle.

For positions 1 and 4, outers. Obviously the notch is wider on the Toyota but its also on the opposite end, so the block and main cap will have to notched as well and the notch will have to positioned correctly to align the oiling holes and centered since the Toyota bearing isn't as wide. I don't see this as a big issue either.

you may have mentioned this in your website post but the google translator wasn't that good, do you agree?

This is very interesting. So as I couldn't figure out the translations I got a question...

Why are you using .25? Why not standard?

I grabbed a set of these bearings from work and took them home to check out. I have a ton of pics that I will load tonight . They MIGHT work but the bearings are slightly longer so it's going to be little tight on the tolerances . Also the "tangs" have to be massaged to fit correctly. These bearings also are not nearly as wide as stock bearings , by about 1/3. That said I'm still going to build a test engine with these bearings and see what happens.

We use 0,25 size because engine was machined for ORIGINAL 0.25 bearings, but we didn't find them. Yesterday we finished to build this engine with those bearings. It works good BUT has some oil pressure problems (we think it's oil pump problem).
I don't use google translate so sorry for my English. But I understand you better than I write.

It will be very interesting to see this "custom" built engine. :woo-hoo: We didn't make any photos of our engine on those bearings in process

Well our engine works great and smooth until it has 90 C degree temp. After it has oil pressure problem. we will try to test oil pump and head's caskets. so you have all chances to build a good working engine

Here are the crappy pics I promised so you get a idea.

could you please reload pics. We made a second engine and it works great. First one have a dead oil pump :( it killed cranckshaft so we are lookin for new/another.

some one from Ukraine says he did 50 000 ml on this bearings in 2 years. He found those bearings himself (not my advice)
So I may go this route on a current build. did you have to modify anything to get the wider bearings to work or did you just put them in and the worked fine??
