Probably a JIT thread. I can measure the threads per inch and diameter for you in a little while. What are you trying to do? Mount it somewhere else in the intake tract?

In the shogun , with all my alu turbo pipings , im gonna try to find an alu nut to weld to my piping.

Hamal , Are you sure with the 3/8 , it looks like more 1/2 ... not sure..

the coolant temp sensor is different from the intake air sensor.

I bought a 1/2 NPT tap , and the threads are different , The size looks about it , but the threads are a tad bigger on the NPT tap.

The 18 thread is right , according to my tap kit gauge , but what is the size If I need to order a tap?

According to 2nd site Hamal provided , 18 thread and 0.38in will equate to 3/8.

Can anyone double check this info?

On NPT (National Pipe Thread) fittings, the 3/8" refers to the nominal inside diameter, not the outside diameter. On 3/8" NPT the outside diameter is probably closer to .625" or 5/8".

I couldn't find an IAT sensor or a filter housing either, in all my SHO junk so I can't help you with measurements.
