Did my car come from the factory with a remote keyfob?

I have a 1993 Taurus SHO, and was wondering if all SHOs of this year came with remote keyeless entry, or if it was an option. The keyfob (if it ever existed) is long gone, and I was thinking about getting an aftermarket job so I can unlock the car before I get to it. Thanks for any help, guys. :)

If it has the keypad on the door, then yes. If it doesn't, then no. Of course that's all dependant on whether the door was ever replaced...

Look at the box in the trunk to be sure. Some had keypads w/o remote, some had remote w/o keypads. The box in question will have a 5 digit number (factory keypad code) and a radio antenna plug if it has remote.

Up to 92 they did not use keyfobs from the factory, just the keypads. The 93-95 systems were remote keyless.

In the trunk, on the drivers side, up near the rear seat. If you have keyless that is...
