Glad some of you guys are able to order them. I don't know why some Ford parts dept can't seem to order them. Who knows? Looks like I will be removing mine next week and having them colored to match the car. The chrome was kinda growing on me, but I painted the first fender vents I had, might as well do these too.

Are these hard to install? Not experienced in body work... is this something best done by an experienced dealership shop? Would appreciate your comments. THx

Thanks for the comment... sorry for my igorance here but do you have to remove the wheel and inside wheel wheel cover to gain access? Haven't attempted anything like this before. Any special tools required? Thx.

Easiest way is to pop the plastic clips holding the inner fender at the back, pull it away, reach up there and pinch the tabs. It will pop right out. put the clips back in and just snap the new ones in place.....5 min/side should do it.

Thanks for the idea, my local Ford dealer ordered them had them the next day. Opened door and grabbed vent on door edge and slowly pulled it out. I did not need to push out from inside. Be sure you give them a good tap when installing so they seat tightly all the way around.

I didn't need to put any clips back in. Mine just snapped into place.

no clips in the fender vents, just in the inner fender. you might be able to jam your way through the door, but I think it's quick and safe to take the four plastic clips out of the inner fender and reach up there to pop out the old vents. it really only takes 5 minutes and its easy.

Has anyone done this yet? (2013 Taillights and a 2013 rear trunk lid on a 2010-2012 vehicle.)
Post a photo.

Is it ironic that I was thinking of getting non SHO fender and trunk lid emblems so I can make my '13 more of a sleeper?

SHO emblem swap 2010 for 2013 emblem swap

:swing: easy peasy. local dealer in S/E Mi had in 2 days $82 took less than 10 minutes carefully using plastic putty knife to depress the upper tabs.
