ran my 92 for the first time, first time with a fwd manual, I did horrible, first run I rolled out with a
rt/of .356 60ft 2.753 1/8 10.669 1/4 16.230 at 89.94

second run founf out i need strut rods bad!! launched it this time with horrible wheel hop and every thing banging around

rt .336 60ft 2.652 1/8 10.428 1/4 15.894 at 91.35 finishing with my steering being like 60dregrees out

Third and final rolled it out rt
.341 60ft 2.504 1/8 10.287 1/4 15.809 at 90.43
car has magnaflow y pipe ss intake dynomax cb and toks with eibacs

*strut rod bushings and repair kit, I also had a passenger, spare tire and a bunch of tools in the trunk probably would'nt make much of a difference, maybe a tenth or so

I know I didn't want to launch the car, I need to fix the subframe issues, I didn't realize how bad the issue was until I tried to launch it that night. So I just rolled off the line.

Hows the MX on that car and what RPM's were you shifting at? The Trap speeds seem a little low.

Doesn't indicate much. With a very crappy 60' and 1/8-mile, the trap speed isn't too far out of the ballpark.

I was shifting around 7200 to 7400, sorry what is MX?

If the car is basically stock, keep shifts no higher than 7K.

Regardless of mods, a 60' of 2.2 - 2.3 is very good, 2.1 if you catch it right.

In my Experience....again.. This is Just me...60' Times have never had to much effect on my trap speeds... Maybe half a MPH or so. In some cases, I've had better MPH with Worse 60' Times. In my green car, I had a Fastest Time of 14.1@100 MPH with a 2.2 60'...However... on a later run (With no difference in shift points or cool down time) I blew the 60' Time (2.5) and went 14.5@101.

Same thing with my 95, Fastest run was a 14.7@95 (Stock, Minus a SHOshop Y Pipe) with a 2.2 60' Time. However, My fastest trap was 96 MPH with a 60' of 2.4 that netted me a 15.1

I can't recall my how my White 92 went but I seem to remember the trap speeds being pretty consistant (91-92 MPH @ 3,2000 Feet Elevation, Stock).

On stock Cams, No. Shift at 7,000 RPM's and you'll be set.

on my car with mods in sig i got a 2.2 something 60ft and the best E.T. i got was 9.96 in the 1/8th but i kept it in second bounced off the limiter once at 7500 as i got through the traps, a little high for a car with out cams but it was my best time. i think i shifted outta 1st around 7k ... luanching at around 3k doing a hard rollout spun tires just enough to keep her from bogging

You definently should have went in to 3rd gear. You could have netted an Easy 9.5-9.6.

Bascally stock (meaning no chip or cams), no. No higher than 7K.

With a better 60' (since his were so bad), he should be 90-91. Which, for a stock, high-mileage SHO, ain't really too shabby.
