I cannot figure out what this connector is for and if it should have a jumper in it or if it actually goes somewhere. It hangs by the wire on top of the transaxle behind the engine in front of the firewall. I thought it was my spout connector when I was doing some searching but I was able to locate that.

Here is a pic with the wires if that will help give it away

Thanks guys

If its unplugged, you wouldn't have any VAPS.

Your video confuses me. Your comment made it seem like the wheel was moving by itself, but in the video you were moving it.

But ****, plug it back in and see what it does.

What the power steering pressure switch does, is as you are turning the steering wheel at idle, when the pressure increases in the rack, it closes that switch, telling the PCM that you are turning the wheel, and it will increase the idle speed to help compensate for the load that the power steering pump is putting on the engine.

You guys are the best. Found where it goes on the rack and pinion, pluged it in and all I van say is WOW! Now that's the feeling I've been missing out on. It feels like the magnasteer system in a gm car. I like it alot. If you were all were wondering, I first spotted it after I put a new tranny in back in January. But this is the first time it's been plugged in since my hands have been on the car.
