Out of the dealer @ 13.7

With a tune and minor mods , some people touched the 12 (high)

not that fast i guess..

my sc must run around a 13flat then.... (never had it to the track)

i should be pushing 300whp right now. and got another 10% sc pulley to put on and waiting on my better supercharger inlet.

I attended the SC Shootout last year in Indaina. Not too many of those cars were in the 12's, heavy car.

2 cars (1 turbo, 1 AR) were in the 10's.

I'm building an SC (for the past three years!).

Hope to get it done this year.

What is it with peoples insistence on comparing highly modified cars to factory efforts?

What did your SC run stock? It sure as shit wasn't low 13s, high 12s!

What do you think a new SHO could run with a commensurate amount of modification? Mid 10s? High 9s?

Faster than your SC.

Please stop comparing apples to kumquats.

i wasn't comparing to say haha i beat it i was just tryin to find out the range my car was in................. the only reason im on this forum is to get help with my 3rd gen.

only reason i listed mods is that i figured maybe someone might of wanted to know....

oh yea. i still have a stock style blower.. let me upgrade it to an twin screw style. ill be pushing 10s if not better...

for a $5000 car and maybe $6000 in mods. not bad at all.

Because I can. 09 M3 are fun to beat.

Yes I think a stock 89 would beat a stock ECOSHO, ok well y-pipe'd 89 but y-pipes is not a mod anymore. U cant get factory ones anymore!

Nope tranny will fail and who would want a 10 sec taurus..PHFFF retards;)

I like comparing new cars to real cars. IE the IS-F motor is a rip-off of the SHO intake.:p

 wow sugar rush!!!

EDIT:

BTW OP. High 13's to Low 14's @ high 90's. Not bad for a 2 ton boat!

+1

ET is highly dependent on 60' times and how you set it up to get out of the hole.

Better to look at trap speeds. That tells you the "potential" ET. About all of the s/c Gen 1-2 FWD SHOs have 11-second potential, but they only run maybe high 12s on DRs without all of the suspension crap they have to do to a FWD to hook up.

OTOH, on the street from a rolling start, you eliminate the 60' issue and cars will run closer to their potential (not that I condone street racing........guess I have to say that!!)
