Nice work. Looks like beast!!! That CC stuff is so nice but sure it expensive. Its almost $20 per foot for 2.5" pipe!! I want to get my Y-pipe coated.

For the oiling system it goes oil tank, pump, turbo, cooler, pumped backed into the resovior? Is there any filters or temparture contol? Are they both tilton pumps or is that overkill?

I had 48lb Accell injectors and it was dead out of fuel at 5000rpm. So we put the 60's in and now there's no problem with fuel, even if we decide to go to the bigger housing and 20psi or more.

Not enough fuel is a very bad thing.

AFR is steady at 12:1 until it chokes on the housing where it creeps up a bit.

Strange. I have heard the old SS 47.7's actually flowed more than the 48's. At 430whp/412ft lbs, and pig rich, with stock fuel lines and regulator, and a 190lph pump, car still had plenty of fuel with those 47.7's. I was probably close to maxing em out though. And last setup, with the 62-1, showed 85 DC with 15psi (394whp/365tq). Now that I have the Accel 48's, I am worried that I will run out of fuel earlier.

What FP were you running doug, and what pump? Thanks for the info.

Yes they did and were somewhat inconsistent from set to set. I think I saw a test where they flowed closer to 55 than 47.7 and good luck getting good MPG with them.

Interesting. I did manage 26mpg with my last setup (and we were not exactly going the speed limit the entire time)

Ok, back to thread.

I got 32mpg driving my turbo SHO nicely (with saving gas in mind) with my shoshop injecters and now that i'm running 44lb accel's my mpg is HORRIBLE over 3K last july beating the **** out of my car most of the way I averaged 17-18mpg. you can only beat on a car so much over 3K miles so I prefer my shoshop ones over the accel actually. There are other contributing factors such as a converter that no longer locks up and modified gear ratios but I can't drive my turbo car anywhere without putting 25 bucks in it. It was not always that way.

/\/\/\ All right, now maybe this thread can get back on track.

Doug, it may have been lost in the past page, but what fuel pressure were you running with the Accels?? It seems strange to me that those power levels would max out those 48's. If the lines were the problem, upsizing injectors would do little good. Same for the pump.

Any idea on the IAT's or EGT's?

lol, you type slow

there's still salt on the road. Even if my SHO was driveable it's gonna spend a little more time in the garage even though it's already rusty. I wouldn't drive a rust free car around here until there's been a couple good rains.

You're worried about getting rust on that car?
