what pump are you running for the oil scavenging

A very expensive one.

It's a gear pump with bronze gears built and designed for 100% duty cycle. It's also super quiet. Unlike the white car, you can barely hear it inside the cabin.

i'd imagine with the filter in that location, it's not exactly a car meant for daily driving? any thoughts on placing the filter up in the trunk with some sort of shroud around it to limit a loud sucking noise in the cabin of the car just in case one happens upon a nasty rain storm whilst honda hunting?

The first car in this thread has a sock on the filter to keep water out...

I've got the filter in the back corner and it shouldn't see too much driving water. Plus, that's what the filter sock is on there for. Water cant get thru it.

you must be mad if you want to quiet the sucking noise a turbo makes! With am much power as a turbo adds you quickly learn to respect that racing in poor weather is a bad ideal.

I didn't say anything about racing IN the rain. My comment was about racing when a squall pops up. my 95's useless above 1/2 throttle in the rain, so I'm well versed in behaving when the road's shiny.

Worst post ever.

-Sam

Worse post ever, hmm, well lets see. You know that little metal box between the motor and wheels smart guy? It's called a transmission. For one, there is some power loss when torque is passed through it. That power loss is exchanged for heat. Ford, or whoever built the sho mtx screwed up designing the diff. Improper ****, and guarantee to fail pins. If he doesn't have a quaife or at least the diff pins welded, your not getting 400lbs+ of torque to the wheels for very long without the pins flying right out of a ************* mtx tranny. Seeing I have two SHO's, rebuilt my 90, blew a diff with a stock powered motor!, about to make a showagon, I think I know what im talking about. Thank You!

Sam is fully aware of the differential situation.

The thing is... If you're looking to boost and don't upgrade the diff: You're doing it wrong. Considering burnouts **** the stock diffs, you'd be [not smart] to stick with the stocker as you'll burn out EVERY time you mash the gas 1st - 3rd (depending on how much of a "big dog" you are).
