Let us know how it handles afterward. I am thinking of getting the same set up.

I have it. I love it, still has the stock feel when driven normal, but you can make it get progressively stiff as you take the off ramps a little faster :) I can put a pic later of the ride height, unless someone else wants to do that, sooner.

Let us know how you like it.

'tis sad when sensatrac struts are considered a 'performance' option for any car...

alas, my rear Tokicos are blown and I don't have the coin for Koni Yellows, so Monroe it is...

Yeah I was thinking the same about those shocks, but i'm planning on going the same route. I have poly everywhere already.
I've seen pics, but I don't remember how it looked.
I'm on my original shocks and springs with 112k, let us know how much of an improvement it is.

Anyone know what type of spring comes on the preloaded assem's from Monroe? Are they made by Monroe, Moog, etc? I was thinking about possibly cutting off 1-1.5 coils on mine!

I'd be willing to bet that they are Cargo Coils.

I seem to recall that the Gen1 Cargo Coils are actually stiffer than the Eibach spring. There are three dead coils on each spring that you can chop.

From what I've seen, they are different than any other Taurus springs I've seen. I'd say they are Monroe springs.

well i finally got my car back a week at the shop. i don't think my mustang mechanic was too enthused about the project but it now feels like a new car. the stock 16 year old bushings were mush. the eibach springs add just enough road feel and the monroes shocks are great. with a 20.5 front swaybar and a 26mm rear i would now say that it feels very neutral in a turn in the wet or dry. for those interested i have $700 in parts (full TPR bushings, monroe senstrac shocks and eibach springs) and $1000 in labor. this is not a cheap upgrade but necessary on a 16 year old car. oh i forgot to add that the rear end sits higher than before with those sagging springs and the front is higher as well. the stance appears equal and i am hoping the suspension will settle but i'm not interested in cutting any coils. i'm glad i picked eibachs because those moog coils must make the car set a mile in the air. don't be afraid of eibachs.HTH
