You can if you want to, but I have not had any problems with my N.O.S kit with the OAS in, and the car having a tune (i.e bumped timing). I'm running an 80shot as of now, however, I will be swapping jets for a 100-125 shot soon and I will hook the OAS up to a switch.

one other question, i am going to purchase a 155lph fuel pump from summit. The summit brand claims maximum 45psi, but the trick flow claims maximum 90psi. Im sure the 90psi would be better for nitrous, but will it outflow my stock fpr?

You could order the SHOsource Walboro one and support the SHO aftermarket...

155lph won't outflow the stock FPR, but anything bigger will ie 190lph.

Cosigned on getting it from SHOSource lets keep our aftermarket alive:thankyou:
