Yay or nay? Mirror cover

Found these carbon fiber covers for the mirrors on eBay and gave them a try. Thought it might look good with the gray. I like the fittment except the hole for the puddle light doesn’t line up properly. It had preinstalled 3m tape to hold it on. Haven’t actually installed it yet. Still kind of deciding lol. Normally I’m not carbon fiber but was curious to see it with the color of the car.

I'm thinking if your SHO was a different color they would probably look better, say Ruby Red. But like we always say, it's your ride, do what you like. My son put some on his GTI and they looked nice. But he takes it to car shows all the time and usually places in the Top 5.

You could always see if someone else wants them (hint hint). Still up to your preference. They may grow on you.

The more I think about it the more I could probably part with them lol. Just think the normal black is better. Maybe if someone who wants them just wants to cover the shipping
