The time has come to sell my rust free blue/black leather 3.2 MTX. Odometer shows 191,407-ish miles. I purchased this car from Toolman at 174,000 miles, September of 2011. I have combed through this car and made some improvements. Some previous history of the car, spent all but about the last 3.5 years on the west coast. For the duration of my ownership, it has been stored in the winter and not driven. At this point, no more miles will be put on it by me until the spring. Let the list speak for itself.

Driveline/Engine
3.2 MTX Full 60k – Front 60k done in summer of 12’ before July Convention, all Ford seals were used. Installed new Gates timing belt tensioner. Upper 60k Done about 4k miles ago. New Motorcraft NOS plugs and wires installed
Always used Mobil 1 10W-30 Full synthetic
New serpentine belts- 4k miles ago
Rod bearings - 4k miles ago
Rear main – 4k miles ago
4k mile reman’d starter – 4k miles ago
Stainless exhaust to ypipe studs – 4k miles ago – One hole for the threads on the front exhaust manifold for the stud to go into, had been previously drilled and tapped out by previous owner somewhere down the line, so the thread pitch and hole are bigger not allowing for the 4th stud to go in. There is a bolt there, just not the stainless one. The 4th stud will be included with the car.
Installed Spec Stage 2 Clutch 4k miles ago, with Fidanza 9lb flywheel, and a ceramic TOB – 4k miles ago
Replaced PS Pump 4k miles ago
Installed Flexane filled front and rear motor mounts 4k miles ago
Sho Source gone through MTX trans prior to my ownership – shifts well
Jose SHOrt shifter
Purge solenoid replaced

Many if not all suspension bushings replaced
VAPS deleted
Reman’d non-VAPS rack and new line to PS pump
Gen 3 subframe bushings
Gen 3 subframe install - All new control arms, ball joints, wheel bearings, all Ford hardware bought new, outer tie-rod ends – probably about 13-14k miles on all parts
New front endlinks at time of gen3 subframe install.

Side mirrors were painted also. Front license plate holder was shaved off front bumper cover. Trunk lock and rear emblems shaved off trunk lid. Had all door dings and dents repaired. The car was repainted Ford Royal Blue Pearl. Rockers were found to be completely clean and free of rust. Have pics to prove it.
SVT Contour “High Output” badges on the sides of the fenders.
New windshield
Fishtank lights
HID Sylvania X1010 fog lights
Clear corner lamps

What it needs…

A new owner to pamper it :)
Still has an oil leak behind the oil cooler… needs a gasket
Moonroof needs alignment, leaks when going through an automatic carwash
ABS light is on. Hasn’t been an issue.
Stock sub is blown, I think.

New owner may want to add a ball ****** to the exhaust. Long story short, I went to go have new cats put in and this is what they gave me back. It will probably be a long time before the engine/trans/subframe needs to come out of the car, so not an emergency at this point. See last pic.

On to the pictures. If there is something you want to see specifically that I don't show, please ask and I'll do my best to respond.

As it sits now,

2012 Convention after the hood came off and the windshield had been replaced

Recent exhaust work done:

The price is $5000. I am not interested in any trades, this is a cash deal. I am getting out of the SHO game, the time has come to move on to other things.

Beautiful car. Mike is the most meticulous SHO owner you will meet, and the condition of his car reflects this!

3.2 swap was done at 120k, by the 2nd owner I believe, based on what I know, there is about 121k miles on the 3.2.

The moonroof realignment, I think may be a matter of adjusting the mounts of the glass, if that is possible. Not sure on the price.

The ball ****** I was quoted about 80 bucks and gasket for that probably less than $10 bucks, 90 total?

Congrats on the sale Mike!

What are you getting as a replacement?

For me it was newer F150 and I have never looked back.
