wow! This is amazing... IIRC, 30+ people bought the tuner from Doug in the first 2 group buys. And there is already 6 people signed up for a 3rd group buy :omg:
Just confirms the fact that this totally gives the v8 sho something it lacks (and desperately needs).
If there is a modification thats worth spending $400, then this is it :thumb:

This is looking good...all the research I have done points to this as the #1 mod for performance (works great with upgrades) and just plain drivability. I can't imagine having quirks like the TC fixed and the option of the butterflies opening at WOT. Come on group buy!

You guys have the five needed to at least get a partial discount. In our group buy, the second one, we got a break once we hit five people. True, the greatest break is seen when you hit ten, but you dont have to have ten to save some money.

The tuners sell for, what doug said a while back, 479 for the I and 499 for the II. If you have five I think he dropped the price 50 bucks.

Someone should contact doug and start geting credit card info in, would save everyone some money at least.

good luck

Is there anyone else out there possibly thinking of joining this group buy but are unsure at this time? Please make up your mind and add your name to the list, as I'm afraid this deal will be ending soon. The group buy was started almost a month ago.

Remember, if you don't try the X-cal, you'll always be wondering how much better your SHO could have performed!

Hurry up, add your name and become 8, 9, and 10.

Talked to Doug, another group buy will happen sometime in Dec most likely. Good thing since it gives other on the fence people more time to gather money.

I dont really mind holding out that long anyway.

So, is this group buy a "no-go"? If so, are our commitments being held till Dec., or will a new list be generated at that time? No discount for filling 70% of the required 10?

I started this thread (not Doug) to field the current "INTEREST" in another group buy. Basically showing Doug that there is still people that would like to get this for their V8SHO's. (This was never and actual group buy thread) hence the unofficial list.

Now that it is apparent that there is an interest in another group buy, I called Doug today and told him that their is alot of interest in it. Doug said we will see a group buy in December.

If you did want an X Cal you can always call Doug up and order one, but if you wait we will be able to get a decent discount when Doug has another group buy.

Well, I'll keep my penny jar topped off for when this thing comes around again.

I just wonder why with 7 commitments, Doug doesn't offer some kind of deal now. I'm not in any hurry for this either, but I wonder if anyone on the list will change their minds and not participate when this group buy comes up in Dec. - Christmas always seems to get more expensive than the rest of the year.
