Most likely your torque converter is falling apart inside. Chances are, it's also damaged the tranny with pieces of metal. All a fluid change will do at this point it put $$$ in the pocket of the shop.

Mom's and Grandma's.... oh dear. My mom, sister, atleast one girlfriend and her mother drive like twitching maniacs. I'd like to say it's a female thing but I'm afraid it's not. I think some of it is medicine related but my mom takes nothing. You'd swear the highway was a rally course by looking at the action on the steering wheel. The same is true for the brakes and gas pedal action. They decide to go fast when they've already let off the pedal and the car has shifted down. This behavior gets to me very badly and I have little tolerance for it and I believe this takes life off of trannies. I see it as abuse and disrespect but I'm pretty sure these people can't help it.X-15 SHO:
hmmm...my SLO is doing that too and the trans is on it's way out because I forgot to check the fluid, but when I put some more it soothed it out a little. Try checking the fluid and yes flush it and put some fresh fluid in, the fluid is probaly the original and no good. If that all fails and the trans is still good all I can think of is someone took the car to long w/out a gas fill up and clogged the pump with all the junk in the tank when running on "E". I would be asking MAMA some questions about running on "E". BTW, I would never let my mom drive my car. It would be to much power for her and she'll probaly wreck it or F it up![]()
