New exhaust for the Mustang will be here, anyone want to help me with the install? I know, I'm in the middle of nowhere (literally, right smack in the middle of the state) but hey, it's a nice drive :)

Tempting. It's just me and my son this weekend. It might be hard to talk a 20 month old kid into helping though.... :)

Tom, going to have to cancel, parents are pretty sick. Unless I get call this eve saying they're much better I might be spending Sat & Sun at their house in Rosco nursing them back to health. Talked to my mom this morning and she sounded terrible, couldn't stop coughing. She's on medicine for arthritis that weakens her immune system so hopefully the doc can get her back on track. I'll keep everyone informed.

If plans change let me know. I may be down for a drive north. I'm wifeless and kidless until Sunday eve.

OK, my rack came in last night so maybe I'll just plan on installing that this weekend.

She saw the doc this afternoon, she has tracheal bronchitis. Not fun, but not pneumonia which we thought she might have. Still on call in case things get worse (I'm only about an hour away) but the Mustang work will go on as planned if anyone wants to stop by. Sorry to muck everything up.

Actually I already started this evening removing the smog pump. What a PITA; I still don't have the bolts into the open ports in the heads, never mind the exhaust. And I discovered a heater hose about to pop and a drip from my lower radiator hose.

Ugh, not a good start to this project. But the exhaust looks cool sitting on the shop floor!

I got buck wild last night and am nursing a hangover. I think I'm just going to hang around the house and watch the race then go see my brother's band play later tonight. We do need to get a meet together soon. Chris, I may have to enlist your services to wheel up my Chrysler. It still looks great but there are some small surfaces scratches I think will come out. Maybe we can do a detail meet or something. We can always use my place as a venue. I will be having all weekends off starting in 2 weeks as I am getting out of the automotive field and starting my new job in the HVAC business.
