My trunk just started opening on its own sometimes and the solenoid failed two years ago. If you have a trunk latch with a known good solenoid let me know the price shipped to 05743. Thank you

usually, the "opening on its own" is caused by the remote release cable being mis-adjusted.

thank you. The release felt different the first time it happened. I figured the cable frayed inside and held it up but i'm not positive. I have the factory service manuals so there should be a procedure to follow, or is it self explanatory?

I guess I need the cable and latch then. My solenoid failed two years ago so the remote release doesn't work. You don't realize how much you use it until you don't have it.

Do you have rear strut rods in good reusable shape, mine are rusted under the bushings.

Yes, that includes the cable. I might have the strut rods. I would have to check my parts.

Let me know if you have them also and what you'd want for them.

I've been away working crazy hours. Those are the fronts and they look rusted like they all get.

I'll send you paypal for the latch and cable so long as the solenoid works. You can just apply +12v to it and check it.
