A good ground in the rear of the car is behind the carpet in the trunk next to the trunk latch on the driver's side of the car. You need to remove the carpet and fastenters then you will see a small hole which you can use to put a bolt through to fasten the ground...remember to scrap the paint away from the area before you put the ground on it so you get a good connection. This might sound kind of mean but why in the **** are you running 2 power wires for your amps?? All you need to do is run one 4-gauge wire then secure it to a distribution block, then from the distribution block you run another 4-gauge out for the amp for the subs and an 8-gauge for your smaller amp for the 6X9s. You dont need to have 4-gauge wire run to an amp that is just powering 6X9s. You can do the same process as you did for the power wire with the distribution block, for your ground wire so you dont have to run 2 ground wires.

There is a rubber gramet underneat the dash on the top left side of the firewall (if you are looking at it from the inside of the car) All you need to do is get some wire loom and put it around the part of the wire that goes through the hole in the firewall. You need to do this so if by some chance the wire rubs the sides of the hole (which are quite sharp) and gets cut, it will send a positive signal throughout your whole car. And as we stereo guys say is "some bad $hit"

Remember about a ground place in a car u need ot be very close to the main frame like u cant be on shock towers or nething thats welded or bolted ot something else- that is very important that u get a solid metal piece to the frame- my sugggestion(im doing this in my car too) is run it straight to the battery best ground u can get and no for sure...ill sleep better at night doing it that way...,ake sure u got a cap with that system ull need it..goodluck

SHOMEUP- When you ground something you need to have the - signal as close to the object that you are grounding as possible, therefore if you ran another wire to the car's battery you would be losing the signal's strength by having it too far away.

92shoiowa- When you run the wire into a distribution block all you are doing is re-routing the signal, not splitting it. It isnt safe to run more than one power wire to the rear of you car, also it is very very rough on your car's alternator if you have multiple power wires running from the battery. The distribution block has a 4-gauge input, 1 or 2 4-gauge outputs and if I am not mistaken 3 8-gauge outputs. All a distribution block is a piece of gold plated metal that is cover by a plastic case the re-routes current to smaller wires or multiple wires.
