Does anybody have the plans for how to convert the 89-93 two-plug-style wiper motor to the single plug 94-95 style?

I was wondering this myself! So, here is the best way i found. All the wire colors are identical. Or, you can take the time and find the wiper control module, unplug harness, plug in other harness, mount wiper motor. The reason I don't state years in this statement is because you can go either way. 89-93 double plug to 94-95 single plug or 94-95 single plug to 89-93 double plug. :sun:

What's the advantage of this?

The later style wiper motors were less problematic, due to a design change with the type of fields used in the motor. IIRC there was a TSB on this, way back when. A lot of replacement motors have the wiring kit needed to do the conversion.

Also, I think it's lighter motor and was probably $0.30 less expensive per unit. An ounce of weight has the potential to save Ford thousands.

The only other advantage (if you were in my situation) would be a lack of funds and having 2 93's for parts and a dd 95. Just did this today. Big waste of time! I figured out that not only did my wiper control module take a crap. My washer pump wasn't working due to a bad multi-function switch. Lesson learned!

Funny this all happened after my alternator went ballistic and started over charging.
