Everything was working fine, then i went to start it and nothing..lights come on as normal, fuel pump ok etc..just no life to the starter..I am not much good with electriclal, but i am good at following instructions..Could it be the starter itself? I looked at the wires and everything seems ok. I switched the battery with a buddy and still nothing..any idea?

If the lights came on, and then u went to start w/no clicking or lights goin dim, then ya it sounds as if your starter took a crap on yA!!!

Try givin the starter a few taps with a hammer...not hard but just afew light raps. If it starts up your brushes are goin bad in the starter and it's time for a rebuild or a remanufactured one :thumb:

can it be the wires? The other day I turned my key, everything had power, but no clicks. Just repositioned the wires a bit, and voila. Well, it didn't start, but it was trying to :p So that did the trick

The female spade connector to the solenoid gets loose over time. You can crimp the connector small amount to get a better fit.
