will 500 degree clear coat look diff

so my dad can get duplicolor really cheap and all he has in stock right now is clear coat thats the high temp stuff will it matter cuz i used the regular green paint but right now it has no clear coat so the simplified question is will 500 degree clear colat look differently

Chances are pretty good that it WILL look a little different. Probably not as clear, maybe a little haze or some yellowing. It also may result in more orange peel.

Are you talking about rattle cans or are you talking about quart cans that you spray with a compressor?
