Ok if I'm at like 30 mph, coming to a light or stop sign, if I try to use the clutch as a brake downshifting to 1st gear, I get a spine chilling grinding/clunking noise coming from what seems to be the front passenger side of the car. I have not noticed anything else out of the norm. This noise/feeling only happens while I'm releasing the clutch. I can also feel it from like 45-50 mph downshifting into 2nd gear. But I have to be a little more aggresive on the release of my clutch to feel it. Any ideas?

First off check the level of tranny fluid. If that's good I'd be leaning toward a possible PP problem. Maybe TOB.

Maybe you want to check your motor mounts also. If you go to www.shotimes.com theres an article there under the maintaince section that will give you some instrustion to check them.
