Driving the SHO the other day the ABS light came on. While the light was on i noticed that the I had a bit more pedal travel than usual and they also grabbed A LOT harder then when the ABS light isn't on. I couldn't b elieve how much brake I had. I always thought it should stop OK being a lil lighter than a stock SHO and having PBRs on 11.6" disks in front. But when the light went off again by brakes were back to being normal and I began to realize how pitiful they are. I want the response and brake power that was there when the ABS light was on. Its not horrible now, but i was totally unaware of how this thing COULD stop with the brakes it has on it now. Any ideas what would cause them to respond like this? is there something wrong or is that what I can expect by bypassing the ABS system?
