Driving down the road and lose power for a few seconds. Like a fuel problem or something though cause I get no check engine light. Still driving and when I let of the gas then hit it again it dogs out for a second. Now after a few more miles engine light is coming and going. I'm well into my trek across 3 states to go back to work so I'm tryin to make it. Wondering if anyone could give me an idea on what it might be so I can swing into a parts store and start slapping on some parts.

Soooo many things it could be but my money would ne on throttle position sensor and clean ur maf for
Good measure while ur at it.

Hard acceleration is not possible now. Anything much past half throttle it starts spittin and buckin. Not violent but its there

Yea the fuel pump is working and its not throwing any codes now . I hate these problems. It sat for a while and decided to start up for me so I'm driving till it does whatever again I guess. It's not acting up at all for now.

YamahaSHO, zblackbeast, LJRuddy, and jthod are all in the area. sounds like it could be the CPS getting shorted out by a leaky water pump, or the cam sensor could be acting a bit wonky. when my cam sensor started failing the car would buck on occasion and idle rough at other times. cruising down the highway it was fine, but once it lost air circulation and heated up it wasn't happy.

Cps is new about 4k ago when I did the 60k. I think cid is going to be one of the things I replace while trying to figure this thing out. It would be great if that took care of the problem!

could also be a fuel delivery issue if the fuel filter is clogged. is the DIS in good shape? your issue is either timing, fuel delivery or possibly spark. but I'd bank on being one of the first two.

Dis is good. I was thinking fuel deliveryas well but new filter and pump about 8k ago. Timing seems to be good. Does the fuel pressure reg go bad on these?

Maybe just got some bad gas ???? If it don't act up during the next couple of tanks could be possible.
