whining noise

99 sho 60,000 miles makes whining noise while spooling up at low rpms, noise faster as rpms increase then goes away, not noticeable at highway speeds, dealer cant find source of noise

Where are the mods? This needs to be posted in the Gen 3 section.

I don't know about the Gen 3's, but that sounds like a Gen 3 SHO about to die by the faulty cam/cam sprokets or whatever it is that goes bad. Don't drive it until the Gen 3 guys explain or it could leave you stranded and cost more to fix then what you can get the car sold for running with out the problem. Oh and that dealer thing probaly explains it. They don't want nothing to do with it and know what it is.
