Axianator said:BARO is another name for the barometric pressure sensor, or BAP. It is used by the EEC primarily for load calculations and various spark adder/retard functions. On MTX cars, the sensor is located on the firewarll towards the center (as seen in Mitchell's pic above); on ATX cars, BAP readings are inferred by the readings that the EEC receives from the DPFE sensor mounted on the back of the intake.
