The CMP sensor was also once refered to as the CPS. Actually Ford used to use CPS for both the CMP and CKP sensors. New and updated terminology (as previously posted) is CMP is the Camshaft Position Sensor, and CKP is the Crankshaft Position Sensor.SHO--ripper:
