Hi everyone! is someone used fuel with octane number more than 91 (euro 95 octane) ? I want to try 93-95 octane fuel (euro 98-101 octane). Is it safe for 1991 3.0 SHO engine?

Should be safe, but you realky wont get a lot of value, unless you are trying to solve a pinging problem or the like. I occasionally ran 93 just to take advantage of extra detergents in that grade of fuel. Yes the engine did run smoother, so the feeling of more power was there. But I would have gotten a tune if I decided to run it regularly. And if even higher octane, a tune us a must.

IIRC, the SHO was recommended in the manual to be run on 91 fuel for best performance, but was ok to be run on 87.
