I am thinking about flushing my transmission and was looking at the different synthetic fluids. Anyone have experience with the B&M Trick Shift and the Redline Synthetic fluid? Which would be better? Also how many bottles do I need to fill it up? Thanks

I know they're both high quality . I use Red Line in all my vehicles. I have a 5 speed so I couldn't tell you but I'll guess 8 quarts--someone will write in with the actual number. Was I close? I'd change filter too and make sure you try and flush torque converter - is there a way to completely do this anyone?

I just did mine Saturday. Look back a few days in the forum for Transmission Flush. It took 3 gallons to flush the whole thing. I used Valvoline at $7 a gallon. Redline will run you $7 a quart.

I've been using B&M trick shift and I can't complain. I couldn't tell you if Redline is better or worse. but you can't go wrong with either

Yea about this B&M Trick Shift. Its 3.99 a quart at Autozone while I see the Mobile 1 Synthetic is 4.99 a quart. I'm inclined to put the Mobile 1 in my tranny as its a name I recognize.

Has B&M been around awhile? Does it really help your shifting better than stock fluids? It says its compatible with most other fluids, but the Autozone guy said once you start using it, you will have to use it from now on or you will have problems...of course this same guy said my ATX SHO could go 100k-150k between tranny flushes. Where do they get this goofy employees?

BTW, where do you buy the gasket and filter? Autozone came up Unavailable on both.
