Ok,my TOB is going out, is allready out.... i need to know if i can replace the TOB by itself. i have a SS hi revs JR.... CM Stage I... whatever.....
and it has alittle over 8k on it.
Should i:
A) replace with midwest's CM Stage I kit,
B) replace TOB, with whatever else i need, i think the PP???? right?
C) replace TOB by itself.... if possible..... im not to sure it is....
D) let it blow up....

im trying to keep cost down to a minimum, because of college and all.
So i might do it at school, but if i dont, that means it will be done at a shop, which in turn means i will need the least expensive way to keep cost down, i.e.. just doing TOB.....
thanks guys... :salute:

I don't see why you cannot just replace the TOB. If the TOB didn't damage the fingers you should be good to go.

If the TOB is failing than yeah its time to replace the PP to which means basically its time for a whole new clutch. Best thing to do is get the transmission out and look at everything. You say only 8K on the clutch? If this is the case and your clutch is already failing Im going to say it wasnt torqued properly to spec, thats usually why they die early like that. I wouldnt be surprised if you found a few of the PP to FW bolts loose. Once the PP backs out everything goes to ****.
