what size belt for s/c???

ok, currently the s/c setup on my sho DOES NOT have the EXTRA idler pulley with it. I just ordered one from Vortech. What size belt will I need now? It will need to be much longer, won't it?

I'm not sure, but I have heard that it varies from gen1 to gen 2 and also which blower bracket you have. I'm running a Goodyear Gatorback 4060620, which is a 6-rib, 62 inch belt. But I understand it can run anywhere from 60-64 inch belt.

I'd get it somewhere you can return it if it does not fit. Goodyear gatorback's have worked much better than ordinary belts for me and others. A bit more costs, but much grippier.

I will be using 6 rib, 64" long belt on mine.
