what is this???

I noticed alot of wires hangin down below the dash so i decided to take a closer look and found this box. I think it's an aftermarket remote entry because the way the wires are everywhere. If this is aftermarket could i just go to autozone or checkers to get a fob for it?

Looks like an aftermarket alarm or something. For the fob, you'll likely have to go to the manufacturer for a replacement keyfob.

And don't feel bad. That installation is worlds better than the installation of the alarm system that was in my car when I bought it.

You're going to have to back-trace the wiring to it since it probably has a starter interrupt and just yanking the unit may make your car impossible to start.
