What compression tester do YOU have?

The one I bought from harbor freight ( http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=95187) didn't seem to have enough thread area to get it screwed in.

Since I'm going to be tearing the surge tank off yet again next weekend to cut away the wire loom and tape on the rear harness to look for burned wires I figured I'd give a compression test another shot if I can find one that I can actually attach to the friggin' car.

I have not used this set, but it lists a "Long reach 14 mm" adapter.
