So my 94 will not start. It did not get any fuel or spark I noticed that the the ignition fuse was blowing everytime I turn the switch to run position. My buddy tried to use his nice 12v tester that can send voltage thru system but he was trying to poke around to much and he gave power to the anti lock brake system thinking it was the pcm not sure what wires he did that too but i hope that didn't cause problems. My pops trying to help out one day when I was not in the shop tried to run power thru the insert where the fuse kept blowing he Said he didn't do anything after that. Now everytime I turn the switch on I can hear the ccrm click and the cooling fan automatically comes on with out stopping. The fuel system ironically has power now but still no spark. Now I have opened alot of the harness looking the for the short or joined wires. I'm following the R/LG wire from power box. If anybody is really familiar with the harness And can give me a tip on where to look maybe?? I did the Igntion circuit test on the ignition switch. It was giving closed circuit on the off, lock and acc position wich isn't suppose to happen. I took the switch off and tested the switch it's working normal wich leads me to believe the short is still somewhere..

What is the background on the car? Was it running before or did you change all those parts since it was sitting and not running? Need to find out why that fuse is failing. Do you have an Electrical wiring diagram for the car so you can trace the wires?

Yes the car was running i sat the car for a rear strut change and once I was done the car just would not start no more and yes I have the ford manual both the electrical and the big 1 and yes the inertia switch is good.

So the starter is cranking the engine, but will not run?
Do you hear the fuel pump prime and you verified you have fuel pressure at the Schraeder valve?
If you look at some post where the cooling fan turns on as soon as you turn the ignition key to the accessory position, people say it could be the ECU(PCM) or grounds. I have the same issue with my 94 MTX with the fans coming on, but the car will start and run.
Why did you change the PCM, was there a problem before that required a new one?
The fuse blowing is an issue you need to find out why that is happening.

I tried to pull codes from pcm but didn't do anything wich lead me to believe that the pcm was bad. Right now I hear the fuel system cut on and I have pressure at the rail but no spark still.

is the engine turning over and just not starting?
were you using a code reader or the paperclip method to get codes
If you search for "no spark" on the forum, there are some posts you can look at

The engine cranks but does not start I used the jumper wire method to get codes but the pcm gave nothing. So I swapped the pcm along with the ccrm with correct letter codes and everything in the ignition system is also new. And I still got no codes even after all that.

When i mean I get no codes the pcm does not start the sequence for code pulling like turning fans on and the CEL blinking I few times before the initialization.

On my '91, it turned out to be the PCM. Fans turned on, fuel pump as well. No spark, had a weird misfire for over a year with a flat spot in the 2500-3300 RPM range before complete failure.

Mine never misfired it had stalled a few times with in a few weeks time before it finally just didn't start anymore after I sat it for a strut change my igntion fuse kept blowing and it was given power thru the insert on the circuit that was bad and it sparked and after that the ccrm turned on and fans turned on automatically after I turn the switch on.

I opened alot of the harness And did not find anything out of the ordinary except the harness that runs under battery tray was really rust dirty the shielding is somewhat gone but the wire still looks pretty good.

Are all the grounding grommets in place? At the firewall, at each fender, to the block , to the Intake?

Ugh. Did a mouse get under the dash and eat the wires? Running out of ideas where a short would come if the PCM is still responding.

Well wierd thing is when I try to run the KOEO test using a jumper wire the code sequence would not start.

u checked everything but the crank sensor. check the resistance of the cps at the round connector at the dis front (key on) minimum of 10 ohms needed to start.
best to ya
