What boost levels are people seeing with the GH AO tune?

Never been to that one, but I will definitely put it on the list for this year. There's a super hilljack one called kd dragway in southern ohio, but I think that one is just an 1/8 mile track.

Pictures can be deceiving just as dragy can. I had it register a 4° positive slope at milan on my 0-60 last time I was there. I'd love to get on a track that was legit downhill tho. That would be way cheaper than adding more mods to go quicker.
That last pic, the background is the ramp up to the starting line

Just so happens that I ran a FBO 16 SHO (intake, dp's, full exhaust, front mount IC, tq mounts, E30 tune, and meth) and walked him from a dig with my current mods minus the GH IC. Funny, I removed the GH IC and went back to stock. My car made more boost, and went faster on both my draggy and Livewire without a tune modification. His car was tuned by Ortiz, and mine is tuned by AJP.

His car had more mods, held more boost higher in the RPM range, and had meth......

He was making noise here in AZ all over FB, and I took him to Gapplebees with LESS.

For reference my SHO went 12.56 at 109 E30 tune only (tune and plugs) with a K&N drop in.

You made him sell all his go fast parts.

There is a great article on the supra forums I linked in another thread here somewhere about Air flow vs Colder air. With an intercooler swap only (went from horizontal to vertical flow) his IAT2 went up but gained 20whp on the dyno. Boost was able to hold higher/longer over the rpm range because it was able to flow significantly better. Wonder if that is the minor downfall of the GHIC, great IAT2 temps at the cost of flow? Either way it can certainly help make power but just wanted to throw the info out there.

@SM105K turbos are also on their way out so having them fill that extra space is probably extra taxing on them

don't drag us in that, he had bad knock sensors and ran less than stock timing when yall ran. We never even got a log back after the HPFP was installed.

No no no Lee. I gapped him before that whole fiasco. I ran him with all his mods with his stock HPFP E30 tune and meth. He didn't have knock issues, and was putting a beating on most the cars he raced out here including the Infamous GT500. The knock issues started when he installed the EVO and in tank pump after I took him shopping at the GAP.

Yeah we found that out and verifed it when I dropped the GH IC and put the stock one back in and the car went faster.

E30 is 94 octane. For comparison, unleaded race gas is 100-104 depending on retailer. E85 is 108. A 2013 PP is advertised with ~13.7@103. I am guessing that is with premium (91 or 93 octane depending on retailer). So if a tune, plugs, and a 1-3 octane bump shaved 1.14s off the 1/4 for you, I'm guessing it is not to crazy (or anything unordinary) for you to be able to shave another .24s off your time by increasing 9-13 octane. So my comment stands, stating a full weight, stock car, with only a tune, was able to run a 12.32 because of the tuners abilities while failing to mention the car is running high octane fuel is very deceitful. It is wanting attention and bragging right where none are due. It is like I said comparable to anyone else comparing a car with a power adder/mod to a car without the power adder/mod. Higher octane will enable many things that cannot be done on the stock form car. I'm sure you know this and that is part of the reason you run E30.

For further reference, the difference between 12.32 and 12.56 is about 40 feet at the finish line
You need more information then just an ET to determine the margin of victory. I guess assuming the exact same reaction time, exact same acceleration profile, etc. you can make that claim but, it comes down to more that just the ET.
