Ok I have read several old threads about installing an aftermarket head unit to the JBL amps.
That part is done. My problem is the bass amp doesn't work unless I unplug one of the rear rca cables from the back of the HU. It will then work and sometimes I can plug it back in(all 4 rca's connected front/rear) and the bass works...the system sounds great when I do that. Then I mess with the fade and balance to check and see if all speakers work and the bass shuts off again. When the bass amp is off I think the other jbl amp is off too. I originally thought maybe the amp turn on was not right.. but I don't think so. The only thing I can think of is some sorta ground loop issue when all 4 rca are plugged into my HU. Its an alpine btw. Maybe some setting on the HU is set weird? Any ideas?
