I finally decided to replace my sidemarker bulbs and discovered that the driver side that was hit destroyed my side marker bulb socket where it plugs in i put a few dabs of super glue around the edges of the socket plug. I realized that the driver side headlight has this blue wire grounded to the body....it doesn't stop there. I unhooked that wire and that headlight doesn't light up at all even when i switch my headlights to on or auto.
So big thanks to the shady body shop that replaced that headlamp assembly with an aftermarket one, whatever its cool.
While i had the front end apart, i replaced both of those bulbs. All lights work good. Reinstalling the bumper cover and all the fasteners wasn't hard at all with the help of a 2nd set of hands. It's just an annoyance that these guys couldn't get an OEM factory headlamp housing hence why I'm against aftermarket body and lighting for cars. If you know you know.
