Just got the Ortiz 93 tune on and pulled against like a 12ish M2, said he was pushing about 400, at a 20 roll he pulled a length at about 50 and then i started walking up and we had to brake, not too shabby id have to say. However, from a dead stop the shifting isn't very nice my clutch packs are getting pretty upset going into 2nd and 3rd

Thats what i was hoping as someone had said something similar about the paddle shifters

It does seem to shift kinda hard into second rolling from 10 to 15 slowly

intial tune takes about 50 miles to relearn the adaptive trans. Don't forget to datalog so you can start making actual power

Yeah im quite sure the itsx is data logging, i will verify tomorrow, you said its good to go on 91 if I don't have 93?

yep, our 91 and 93 tunes are actually the same, the 93 tune just allows the knock sensors to add more spark if happy.

Do you use the airflow#/min to estimate hp? That is my primarily way of seeing if changes are positive

Bitter sweet news from Luis, im only getting like 8-9 pounds of boost, its appears my wastegates are maxing out, anyone wanna sell me a set? So thats awesome to hear that well get alot more out if it but im gonna have to ge to those which I don't imagine will be fun

We stock them, I've had a set sitting here for a year that I still haven't installed on my car haha. I need someone with smaller hands for that rear turbo.

I would be looking for boost leaks. Check the seals in both of your BOV's first. Take both of them off, and check the diaphragm. If it is torn you are leaking boost. Then check all of the couplers and make sure the clamps are tight.

The log isn't characteristic of a boost leak. his fuel trims are great and the TIP comparison is within range, but Luis is commanding 14 psi and the wastegates are only sending 12 which then tapers down to 9.5 as the wastegates reach and sit at 100%.

To troubleshoot before upgrading, I would start at the wastegate solenoid on top of the intake manifold (the box with 3 vacuum lines and an electrical connector) and check all 3 of those hoses for leaks. You can get a hand operated vacuum/pressure gun, hook it to the to the wastegate feed line (that runs down next to the engine) and start pumping while watching your wgdc on the log. The wastegates should start to open around 7-8 psi. You can also use this to check for leaks or breaks in the line, which is not uncommon for cars with mileage.

Also look at the wastegate linkage on the turbo and make sure the c-clip didn't pop off, while you aren't throwing a code for it, it's possible that one of the turbos may not be operating and we're only getting boost off one turbo.

Well... thats not what I wanted to see when trying to get a look at the turbos, guess ill be draining and filling the ptu this weekend and we'll see how long it lasts. @SM105K

I'll go for a drive in a bit and see, thats all fresh so i think i just went a lil overboard last night and got her real warm thats why im gonna go ahead and drain and fill asap hopefully avoid too much damage
