ok put in a new water pump and now it whines like crazy not sure why am i supposed to oil the bearing through the little hole on the top when installing thinking it may be a bearing hum

No. That's a weep hole. It's where the pump will leak coolant when the seals go south. Did you properly tension the belt, if you overtighten a belt it can put excessive force on the bearing and cause it to whine.

thats not it let off some tension and its still just as loud i'm gonna be mad if this pump is bad i took it off twice now today first time had one of the o-rings rip in half can anything ever go right when i do anything

anyone please i've checked the tension i need to leave in an hour and now i may not be leaving at all dont want to drive it and have the waterpump pulley just snap off
