Hey all

I recently purchased a used Tokico/Eibach suspension setup (thanks rlock), but due to living in the city I lack the garage/tools to install them myself. Before I go to a mechanic and get charged up the yin-yang, I was wondering if anyone out there would help me install them. I am not mechanically incompetent as I have done a decent amount of work on my sho(s), but this probably goes beyond my knowledge. Anyway, I am more than willing to pay someone for their time and space. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I forgot to mention that I would be willing to give my stock struts/springs to whoever helps me with this. I doubt the rear springs are in the best condition, but I do know that the front struts were replaced about 8,000 miles ago. Anyway, let me know if that interests anyone.

I could possibly help out but I've been pretty busy lately. My place isn't the best place to work on cars though. Even if I can't make it out, I can always offer advice or words of encouragement. :)

What condition is the car in? Is rust an issue?

PS
Are you getting new strut mounts, bearings, pinch bolts, etc? Are your tokicos assembled with the eibachs already?

The car is in very good condition, 66K tells the story. The front struts have less than 5,000 miles on them, but city driving is wrecking the suspension in general. Rust is not an issue compared to many SHO's that I have seen(I am from MI). The springs are already assembled with the struts. I am more than willing to put in the time/$ on this one, I just lack the tools and space to accomplish the job. I don't even have a level surface to work with. What do you guys think? I am not sure on the mounts/bearings, what should I look for?

If you can swing it, get yourself GM adj. control arms and a h-brace. This way you will be to get SHO properly aligned. Might as well do this while you have the car apart. Do a search on "Adj control arms" for more info.
