Wandering idle - then stall

After my '96 warms up (it's 85 degrees here today) the idle fluctuates up and down between 500 - 1000 rpm then the car will stall. Other that this, the car runs fine and as strong as ever. Any ideas what would cause this?

I was thinking of disconnecting the battery for a while and then reconnecting to reset the computer.

Any ideas?

That's a good place to start. While you're doing that, I'd check the TPS connector, too. Had a similar problem after I first bought my SHO and after unplugging and re-inserting the TPS connector a few times I've never had the problem come back.

mine is a 96 and it had a crazy idle at times but i changed the plugs and changed the brand of gas and it has stopped the funny idling and a couple of stalls i had. i use only super in my sho 93 octane
