Finally after a long 5 weeks my window sticker is available. Bad news is the dealer forgot the rapid spec 402A. Son of a $&*#&!!

All I get is a sorry and it will be another 5 plus weeks. Nice start

another 5 weeks? screw that. if the dealer cant do anything call ford HQ and raise some ****.

if anyone you talk to says they cant help, ask for the name and # of someone else that MIGHT be able to help. you woudl be surprised how few people you have to talk to before you get to someone that can hit a few keys, type in a password, ask a manager if he approves and you wind up with EXACTLY what you originally wanted.

What car are you after that they cannot find one within a 400 mile or so radius? I told my local dealer what I wanted, including 402a, and within a week they had it here ready for me to pick up. Granted I gave them a few choices (either 2010 or 2011, Kona Blue or black, didn't car if it had multi-contour or not, but must have 402a, nav and sport package) and I committed to buy if they found what I wanted. We worked the numbers assuming the minimum and within the week they brought a black 2011 in with everything including multi-contour and didn't even suggest we re-work the numbers.

I ordered mine on 16 APRIL, got a confirmation of the order that day and still don't have my car. From comments on this forum, there are huge differences in how fast a dealer can get a car

When I got my SHO the sticker was ripped. It took 1 week to get it in. 5 weeks sounds like a long time to me.
