I rode it's your first car, congratulations for your SHO, it's very hard to find one in Canada in good shape, rusted as **** often. I remember that I have a discussion with a lady in Saskachewan one year ago who have identical one to yours (a green 97). One day maybe, we will have a canadian chapter for Gen 3.
Don't make the error that some/many tryed. This car isn't a muscle car, trying to transform it into this can simply **** it. Don't hope going beyond a 20% bonus in power (beyond 270 hp). However, you can improve the handling in a great way. At this age, maintenance upgrade are a priority (including welding the cams, the #1 priority). You will not able to follow your father in his Mustang but yours can have a better handling (at least with a suspension tuning) and probably a better confort (one of my friend have a 2010 stang and I don't like sitting in it, seems not made to taller guy, can be different for 2017...).
Your channel is a good idea, will be usefull at least for Gen 3 owners. Some time ago, I bought the kit send to the owners who bought these SHO new from Ford (US only ?) with an offert to a learning lesson in driving these SHO. In this kit, there is a promo video for the Gen 3 SHO... (well, it's not very usefull but it's very comic, gen 1 and 2 guys will probably laught a lot but who cares ?). One of my friends take the CD and convert it in mp4 IIRC. It's the kind of thing you searching for ?
If you need info, we will be glad to help you,
