Dont forget that a 40 hp gain is probably a combination of other things (porting, chip, intake, yadda yadda yadda). I do doubt that a bone stock SHO would see that kind of increase but I believe there would be very decent gains since ive seen the inside of the exhaust manifolds... they aint very roomy in there.
