The other night when I was in Sport mode I got on it and instead of upshifting like normal the car hit the limiter. I could use the paddle shifter to manually shift, but never had this problem before. Any advice or suggestions for this? Thanks!

Are you sure you did not touch the paddle shifters after switching to SPORT mode? That should be the only reason why there might be a delay in gear change. What speed were you going/what gear were you in when this happened? Did you have to take action to drop the RPM?

I used the paddle shifters to drop me into the appropriate gears and then hit it and it didn't upshift. Speed was approximately 40 in 2nd

I've never had it NOT do what you described. If I drop a gear in Drive, it up shifts on its own. But if I do it in Sport I have to manage it from there on out.

I have just out right floored it from 20-30 MPH and had it completely bounce off redline I attribute it to loss of traction

if you are in S and use the paddle shifters, it will think you want to shift manually and will not go back to auto mode unless you shift back to D
