Unknown Electrical Plug

I noticed there is a brown plug located in the rear of the engine, behind the EGR valve on the rear of the intake. It has 2 wires in it: yellow/green stripe and the other one is brown. I am trying to find out where this goes and what system it may be tied into. I am hoping cruise control that way I can get it working again.

Forgot to mention it is 93 3.2 ATX

if i remeber right i have seeen wires back there also, but i have an mtx, and no egr valve. i always thought that is was for the egr valve but now that you said something im stumped too.

Some of the 3.0 lt have the wiring harness forthe Calf emissions so Egr valve plug and the brown is for VAPS system test connector. Don't worry bout plugging it in anywhere they don't go anywhere.
